Dallas-based development firm KDC broke ground Tuesday on the new headquarters for Dallas-based Tyler Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TYL) within the Legacy Business Park in Plano.

The 142,000-square-foot corporate and division headquarters will be on the former site of the Plano Family YMCA.

The campus will consolidate Tyler Technologies and its 300 North Texas employees from two locations, the Plano site and its existing corporate headquarters at 5949 Sherry Lane in Dallas. Tyler Technologies provides software to the public sector.
